SERGE LOPES

The founder, Serge Lopes has a double hat:

both as a professional dancer and also as a professional in the tourism industry.

Member of the international dance group Serial Stepperz and also of the Badland collective, he has participated in a large number of competitions in France and abroad, including the Juste Debout, of which he is the winner in 2018, the underground circle, and also at abroad: the Dance Summer festival, Move Deluxe, Dance Delight, Urban Champs.

In 2008 he joined the company of the famous Spanish choreographer Blanca Li to play a role in the show “a poet in New York”. He also plays in several feature films and disseminates his knowledge through regular courses and courses in France and abroad, in particular, for several years, with the main actors of the city. Combined with his experience in tourism, his professional vision of the world of

dance allows it to offer activities suitable for everyone.

ANGELIQUE LARQUE

Trained in academic dances at the CC James Carlès, Angie crosses styles with various companies, cabarets and musicals. She travels to train in African, Aboriginal, Afro-Cuban, hip hop, body percussion dances and discovers the world of swing that will never leave her. With her stage experience, she created her company in 2014: the FUNKY SWING DANCERS. She develops her own jazz feeling there by integrating all her influences but also theater, which leads her to choreograph on the shows of several great orchestras (Glenn Orchestral - A Night In New Orleans - Cotton Club Legend...). Pedagogue, it transmits its values to both professionals and amateurs, and organizes monthly open-air public balls. Creativity, flow and musicality are her key words, she makes you swing dance your way thanks to tools and methods. Co-organizer of the WGTB course, you will find her in 2 distinct but complementary disciplines: Lindy Hop and Body Rhythm!

CLAUDE GOMIS

Originally from Senegal, Claude grew up in dance, whether traditional (Sabar, Mbalakh...), Afro-American (hip-hop, break dance, afro-house, krump, new style ...), Afro-urban (ndombolo , offbeat cut, jazzy, kuduro, pantsula…), or as a couple (Cuban salsa, kizomba, lindy hop), he continues to incorporate as many styles as possible, all from the African diaspora.
He trained professionally at Germaine Acogny's Ecole des Sables and joined the companies Jant-Bi (Senegal), Don't Hit Mama (Holland), Robyn Orlin (South Africa) and Funky Swing Dancers (France) with which he made an international career as a dancer/performer.
Due to his taste for sharing, he is now working to pass on his skills in teaching. "WAWAW" is his brand and slogan, it means "yes yes" in Wolof because Claude always remains positive!!

SAMIR LOUNES

Lounès has been a dancer specializing in Locking since 2005. He began in the suburbs of Paris with Christian Andongui, aka Truand, who is a reference and a founding pioneer of JazzRock with the group PassPass. He also trained with Junior Almeida, pioneer of Locking in France. He participates and wins many battles in France, and abroad, such as Juste Debout London, R16 in Paris, Give it up in Italy, Nothing2Loose in France, Eurobattle in Portugal etc... In 2015, he joined the group flagship of Team Rocket locking, with whom he notably won the KOD in China, and participated in the transmission of locking. Living since in Toulouse, he joined the Motion Lab training school as a teacher. He also founded the Compagnie Pour l'Instant with which he gave numerous shows and workshops in the Toulouse region.

THE BLINKERS

A MULTI-FACETED JAZZ TRIO

Between revamped standards and original compositions, "The Blinkers" play music of their time deeply rooted in the tradition of jazz. For our event, they will cross eras ranging from the Swing Era to Funk with sometimes Latin influences :)
Pleasure to play, friendliness and complicity reflect the identity of this trio.  
The Blinker is a "vintage" cocktail from 1934 with a timeless character, just like their music! 
Three doses of scotch, two of grapefruit juice and a dash of grenadine, hit the shaker...
